What you get, and how it works

Several locations: Shop, warehouse, delivery vehicle. At checkout, Komerxe picks the location that holds everything the order needs.
Transfers that remember: Moving stock moves its lots too: number and dates arrive intact at the other end.
Lots and expiry dates: Good lots leave first, the closest date leading. An expired lot is flagged and only leaves as a last resort.

Traceability: Every movement is logged. A lot to recall? You know which orders received it.
Alerts at the right time: Out of stock, low stock, licence keys running out: the dashboard tells you before your customers do.
Returns to the right place: A cancelled order or a received return puts the units back in the location and the lots they came from.

Do I have to enable lots for all my products?

No. Lot tracking is enabled product by product. A dress does not need it; a soap or a juice does.

What happens when a lot expires?

It is flagged wherever it appears and goes last in the picking order. It is never blocked automatically: that is your call.

Can I update my stock from other software?

Yes. The inventory API lets you read, count and move stock by location.
